Everyone involved in teaching and learning or computer science at school level - and of programming in particular - has seen that many students are not interested in the subject. Participation in voluntary courses is often low, and enrolments at university levels have been de-clining fast over the last 10 years.
In this presentation, I will talk about what to do about this. The secret lies in one simple idea: Creating motivation. While this is easily said, it is not nearly as easily done. This presentation will discuss a number of different techniques to motivate students and make computer science more exciting and engaging.
