Adaptive courses offer personalized instruction to user needs and preferences, however, their educational content is hard to access or be reused by other systems and platforms. As a solution to these problems, research proposes the use of technological standards, like Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM), for the creation of educational material. Nevertheless, SCORM adoption results in some restrictions to system design and provided adaptivity. This work focuses on the restrictions, which are related to the production of educational content and investigates ways in the development of dynamic and adaptive educational material that conforms to SCORM and its specifications. For further course adaptation, an adaptive LMS named ProPer is presented, while for automatic course authoring, the use of ProPer SAT is proposed.
