Definitionen
The aim of the Knowledge Territory project is to develop tools that enlarge our knowledge by providing a means of visualizing a large amount of information. This is a joint research project of the Institute for Media and Communication Management of the University of St. Gallen (MCM),the School for Art and Design Zurich (HGKZ) and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ). The recent development of the Internet and related technologies is creating an enormous opportunity for accesing up-to-date information from literally all over the world. The goal of the project is to tap this potential and to develop a system for collecting, augmenting, and exchanging economic and scientific knowledge on top of it.
