Zusammenfassungen
Traditional business strategy is organized around competition. In the last two decades, however, we've seen a variety of challenges to business models that stress competition over customers, resources, and ideas. Converging trends, including the diffusion of new technologies and media formats and the increasing fluidity and flexibility of global industries, will accelerate a shift in business strategy away from solving concrete business problems toward managing complex business dilemmas. Acting effectively in this new world will require a more sophisticated understanding of cooperation and cooperative strategy. In this report, we explore the emerging field of cooperation studies, looking for ways to think about to two key questions: How can new insights about the dynamics of cooperation help us identify new and lucrative models for organizing production and wealth creation that leverage win-win dynamics? How can organizations enhance their creativity and grow potential innovation with cooperation-based strategic models?
